The College is presently undertaking an exciting major project to implement new finance/payroll/HR systems and the candidate will be expected to be a major contributor to this project and others. The environment is both rewarding and stimulating for potential candidates.
It is essential that you hold a Level 4 AAT Qualification or qualified by experience. You will be expected to demonstrate and evidence significant current relevant experience.
English, Maths and ICT are required at Level 2 or higher.
You should have significant current experience in the production of accurate and timely statutory accounts. The right candidate will have extensive experience of accounting procedures and methods within a fast moving finance department.
Your knowledge of Microsoft Office should be up to date and we are looking for someone who has a thorough understanding of Excel Functionality.
Holding a Project Management Qualification and/or experience of accounting for capital projects and grants would be desirable.
