Askham Bryan College is a specialist land-based college based across the North of England with centres in York, Middlesbrough, Saltaire, Wakefield and Newcastle.
We offer a wide-ranging curriculum to our Further Education students, including Arboriculture, Horticulture, Agriculture, Animal Management, Countryside and the Environment, Engineering, Equine, Floristry, Motorsport, Professional Tree Surgery, Outdoor Adventure Sport, Sports Development, Coaching and Fitness and Uniformed Public Services.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Grounds Technician with a background and experience in grounds maintenance to join our Grounds/Estates Team here at our York campus. Working two days per week as part of ABC Grounds Team.
We are seeking an individual who will be responsible for maintenance of the grounds and gardens for the use and education of students across all areas. Sector experience and knowledge specifically in Horticulture, machinery, landscaping and the environment will be beneficial.
The successful candidate will be involved in the development and changes required to deliver a modern and sustainable educational environment.
Qualifications in Horticulture, machinery maintenance and or landscaping are required.
