The vision of the College’s Facilities team is that they will provide a College environment that is attractive, safe, clean and tidy, that meets the needs of all our students and customers.
This role will help with the upkeep and maintenance of our college campuses in St. Albans and also our campus in Welwyn Garden City.
A team player, you will join a dedicated in-house Grounds and Estates team, preserving the college gardens and sports pitches.
The successful candidate should have experience of working across a variety of horticultural areas including formal gardens, borders, lawns, pasture, sports turf, landscaping and woodland management. Previous experience of using a wide range of ride on, towed and pedestrian operated equipment will be very beneficial as well as basic maintenance of grounds and grass cutting equipment.
You will work closely with other members of the Facilities team and curriculum staff to provide a safe, well-maintained environment, taking a customer focused approach.
