The Deanery CE Academy is a new school, in the heart of the community of Wichelstowe with the most amazing facilities, inspirational staff and incredible students. We believe that we have a duty to enable all our students to flourish when they are at school, to enable them to live life in all its fullness - this is the foundation of our ethos and will form a significant part of our dialogue in all aspects of school life.
We are searching for an inspirational Head of Faculty - Sport and Enrichment to join us on this incredible journey, and to inspire our students in appreciating the power of sport and movement and how it impacts them and the world around them. This post is suited to those with previous Head of Department experience. You will therefore be an enthusiastic teacher with a real passion for learning and developing a love of learning. We are looking for a person with a bucketful of energy, who will be eager to develop their professional capabilities and work alongside established staff to provide high pitch and challenge in lessons.
You will be part of an exciting group of pioneering educators in developing our academy, so you must be willing to work as part of a strong team. Is this you? Please contact Vickey Evans at The Deanery to find out more about the role and to arrange a visit to the Academy. The closing date for applications is 15th March 2021 at 12 noon, with interviews being held on w/c 22nd March, 2021.
We will review all applications as we receive them so please do not delay in applying as we may close the vacancy early if we find that one amazing candidate!
The application form should be completed in full, and also a personal statement/cover letter should be included with your application. If you don’t hear from us within 1 month of applying, you have not been successful on this occasion, but we are grateful for your interest in our Academy.
