Head of Faculty
Full time, Permanent
£45,348 plus £2,931 London weighting allowance per annum

The Faculty already offers an extensive range of high quality provision, including Engineering, Civil & Electronic, Electrical Installation, Motor Vehicle, Plumbing & Heating, Multi Skills – Construction and Building Services.
We seek to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic Head of Faculty with a proven commitment to delivering innovative curriculum of the highest quality, to provide strategic management of the College’s existing curriculum portfolio, and to further develop provision to establish us as the capital’s STEM provider of choice. As well as possessing excellent organisational skills, you will be an entrepreneurial manager with a proven track-record, with the ability to establish the Faculty as a sustainable income-generating centre of vocational excellence.
You will be responsible for bringing in new income streams that will enable us to diversify our funding by building key partnerships with industry. You will also initiate projects with a view to developing products and services that suit the needs of the changing employment market. As part of the senior management, you will have a key role in the future direction of the College and will also lead on cross-College developments as identified within the College’s Strategic Plan.
Your background could include an industry training role, or teaching and management within a further or higher education context. Your strong commercial focus, meanwhile, will have been honed in a target-driven business while your experience in the educational field will mean you’re fully conversant with the needs of a teaching environment.
