The Head of Quality is responsible for overseeing the standard of quality assurance, improvement and learner experience across the college. This is a varied role as the college recruits in excess of 20,000 students per year; of which 7,000 are full-time. The college offers around 300 full time courses across the five campuses. You will line manage three key managers (Quality Assurance, Teaching & Learning, and Learner Experience). Your main role is to provide inspirational leadership and management and direction to the quality team. To have overall management responsibility for the Quality team within the Directorate of Quality and Learner Experience. To deliver a positive impact towards achieving college priorities, ensuring that quality KPIs are met. This relies on a leadership approach that puts the learner at the heart of strategies, decision making and planning.

The ability to use the Welsh language in teaching & learning and/or general communication is desirable for this post.
