ACS International Schools are recruiting a Lower School Homeroom Teacher for our Cobham campus. This will be to work on a fixed term basis. The Lower School Homeroom Teacher will work as part of the Lower School team at ACS Cobham teaching students with varying levels of skills and abilities to promote the core values of ACS.
You will be working within a campus of outstanding facilities in a beautiful countryside setting, inclusive of world-class facilities like our swimming pool, sports centre, and state-of-the-art theatre.
Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- A teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)
- Experience teaching relevant subject/grade levels to LS students.
- Effective classroom management skills
- Strong IT skills, preferably with Apple products
- Significant experience and willingness to integrate technology to improve teaching and learning.
- Demonstrable positive and tolerant outlook, enthusiasm for teaching and good understanding of behaviours of the relevant age group
- Fluent in both verbal and written English
- Experience of teaching in an international school is desired.
