We are looking to appoint an Hourly Paid Learning Coach who will assess Apprentices on Level 3 Construction Operations and Level 4 Site Construction Management. If you are a qualified Assessor with industry experience this is the role for you.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of assessing construction learners on NVQ programmes. You should have relevant experience and competence within the industry.
To be successful you will need to demonstrate that you can both plan and deliver in assigned time-scales completing all necessary paperwork efficiently and accurately.
The successful candidate will be expected to promote Apprenticeships and maintain links with the business community, potential Apprentices and other stakeholders.
You must be able to offer support and assistance in helping Apprentices develop skills necessary to be successful. The position requires a proactive approach and someone with a positive disposition to ensure the best possible experience for the Apprentices and the employers we work with.
The wider role could also involve providing initial advice and guidance, undertaking initial assessments of apprentices, completing sign up paperwork, conducting customer satisfaction surveys, organising and managing events and any other duties required by the department. You’ll be required to be incredibly organised to guarantee success in this role.
We have high expectations for our Apprentices and so it is important that they are adequately supported to achieve high success rates on all NVQ programmes.
This role will be on a fixed term basis until July 2021 initially, when it will be reviewed in line with enrolments.
