We are looking to appoint an Hourly Paid Assessor to train our Apprentices on CMI Level 3 & 5 Apprenticeship programmes. If you hold a Higher Education Qualification in Leadership and Management or have significant industry experience - this is the role for you.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of delivering Leadership and Management workshops and assessing learners on CMI programmes. You should have relevant experience and competency within the industry to be able to inspire and develop our students.
You will be required to engage and organise our learners to complete planned assessments in Leadership & Management subjects, relevant to the CMI qualification curriculum. To be successful you will need to demonstrate that you can both plan and deliver in assigned time-scales, completing all necessary paperwork efficiently and accurately.
You will have previous experience in coaching, mentoring and assessing groups of towards the achievement of a vocational Apprenticeship programme. You should either hold or have a willingness to complete a CAVA Assessor qualification, after employment has commenced.
The successful candidate will be expected to promote Apprenticeships and maintain links with the business community, potential Apprentices and other stakeholders. You must be able to offer support and assistance in helping Apprentices develop skills necessary to be successful. The position requires a proactive approach and someone with a positive disposition to ensure the best possible experience for the Apprentices and the employers we work with.
Your approach, organisation, proactivity and coaching skills will help retain learners, and ensure each student achieves their assigned projects and qualification in line with the targets and objectives you have agreed in the Individual Learning plan. If you are certified or experienced in the deployment of psychometric tests, personality diagnostics and/or profiling tools, that would be desirable.
We have high expectations for our Apprentices and so it is important that they are adequately supported to achieve high success rates on all CMI programmes.
This role will be on a fixed term basis until July 2021 initially, when it will be reviewed in line with enrolments.
