You will motivate and inspire students, assess their work, offer feedback and maintain records as appropriate.The role will include Comprehensive teaching responsibilities while providing pastoral support to an allocated group of students, while maintaining and developing high standards of teaching, learning and assessment practices to ensure the delivery of a high quality programme.
Appropriately qualified, you will have an undergraduate degree in Counselling or a relevant subject, be able to evidence further postgraduate training, and/or equivalent experience, and demonstrate analytical ability and pedagogical interests as applicable to working in Higher Education. Though clearly a subject specialist in degree-level education, the breadth of your educational background includes GCSEs at grades 9-4 (or equivalent), and A levels (or equivalent). You enjoy working for and with people, which has shaped your identity as a professional and your approach to your work.
