About the job
We are seeking an exceptional Lecturer in English to teach adult learners aged 16-18 and 19+ both English and related skills on Entry Level 2 to GCSE English Level 2. The successful applicant will have a high proficiency for teaching English language and employability skills at Entry level to GCSE to help learners progress to higher levels of study or into the world of work. This role is based at our Centre for Lifelong Learning starting from 2 January 2020.
With possession of a relevant degree and a PGCE teaching qualification and/or a recognised teaching qualification in English / Literacy, you will have experience of teaching adults. You will have strong knowledge and understanding of the subject area and the ability to relate to and communicate effectively with learners.

The Centre for Lifelong Learning at Finsbury Park is an Adult Education Centre, delivering basic skills, access and professional courses to 5000 adults and 200 16-18 year olds.
