About the role:
You will be responsible for teaching on the UAL Level 2 & 3 Diplomas in Music courses with 16-19 age learners and responsible for planning and delivering a dynamic and diverse mainly live Music performance curriculum, that will include units linked to Music production, technology and performance.
Other general curriculum responsibilities will include assessment, tracking student achievement and some administration for the courses. As the Music specialist, you will use the Music resources and support student performances which celebrate students’ work and skills development.
With appropriate experience and qualifications reflecting a strong and diverse background in Music education and/or the Music industry, you will have a teaching qualification. You will have a history of teaching within a vocational (or similar) context to a high standard, with personal/group tutoring experience and of teaching a variety of UAL units in Music at Level 2 and Level 3. You must have the ability to communicate with students and to motivate and support them in their studies.
