We are currently seeking to appoint an inspirational and enthusiastic HR Administrator to join our Human Resources department.
In this busy role you will provide support to the College Group HR department in order to ensure a professional and confidential HR service to all managers and staff, with a constant focus on maintaining departmental efficiency and excellence.
Reporting to the head of HR (College Group) you provide full HR administrative support to the HR team and the Executive Director - HR & Professional Development, to include producing correspondence and minute taking when necessary. You will accurately maintain the department’s personnel files, spreadsheets/logs, Shared Drive and our computerised information systems. You will manage the colleges new starter process, process all College Group payroll amendments, starters and leavers, run regular reports from the system and update absence logs daily.
In addition to this you will respond to telephone, email and face to face enquiries in a timely manner, book meeting rooms, maintain stationary stock, manage the HR email mailbox and collect, distribute and collate incoming and outgoing departmental post.
The successful candidate must have:
•Previous experience working within HR
•Significant administration experience within a medium/large sized team
•Excellent Microsoft Office skills (in particular at least at intermediate level in Excel)
•Experience of working in a fast paced office environment
•An A Level (or equivalent) qualification as well as a Level 2 qualification specifically in both English & Maths
A CIPD qualification and experience working with an Education environment is also highly desirable.
