Cefn Saeson School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Hub Officer, partly funded by the Welsh Rugby Union.
The successful candidate will work across our catchment primary schools and local clubs to develop rugby interest and talent among boys and girls across the cluster. You will complement the work of teachers through involvement in lessons and extra-curricular activities. You will represent the values of the WRU through your work. The ideal candidate will have experience of playing and coaching rugby (ideally holding a Level 1 qualification). Experience of working successfully with children and young people is an advantage, otherwise a strong commitment to developing rugby with the children and young people in our community. You will also agree participation and growth targets and provide objective and accurate key performance indicators and qualitative reports by agreed deadlines.
The school and Neath Port Talbot Council are totally committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Our school is equally committed to ensuring the safety and protection of all children and young people and will take action to safeguard their wellbeing. The recruitment process for this post will be underpinned by rigorous safer recruitment assessment to ensure that children and young people are protected.
This post is subject to an Enhanced Check from the Disclosure & Barring Service (child’s list).
