An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Humanities AOL and we are looking to appoint 1 additional teacher to join our close-knit team. The person appointed will be able to teach elements of Geography, History and RE at KS3. They will support the Area lead in developing a ‘skills rich’ scheme of learning which further enhances the development of student’s competencies in Literacy, Numeracy and Digital Literacy. The new member of the team will also support the process of building links within our school community and with our primary feeder school. We regard this position as being essential for the successful implementation of the new curriculum for Wales within our area.
Our numbers on roll are growing rapidly and we need to add to our current team to accommodate the new intake of students.
Cardiff West Community High School is a vibrant, diverse and inclusive community school in the West of Cardiff. The school opened in September 2017 and we moved into an all-purpose new school site in April 2019.
