ICT Service Delivery Engineer. Full Time. Permanent.
We are seeking to appoint a highly experienced IT Service Delivery Engineer to join our Infrastructure Support Team. In this role you will develop and manage the college network / telecoms systems and ICT infrastructure to ensure robust and reliable systems throughout the College and its outreach centres at all times to support the needs of the College staff and students.
The Networks Team is a highly technical and experienced department within the College and provides an extensive range of ICT facilities, working within an ITIL framework to support its diverse user community.
You will hold a degree in a related discipline or equivalent or demonstrate a range of relevant experience within an enterprise network environment and be able to demonstrate significant and proven technical support experience together with a desire to resolve issues to root cause with a passion under minimum supervision.
The role requires a clear analytical logical approach to problem solving along with good interpersonal and communication skills. The ability to work independently and as part of a diverse technical team across multiple sites is essential to the role.
The college is undergoing a complete infrastructure replacement project and experience in the following technologies would be desirable:
1. O365 Management
Experience of the following is desirable
1. Software packaging
2. SharePoint 365
3. Configuring and managing Wireless Network Technology in an enterprise environment
4. Blade server technologies
5. Storage technologies - Netapp/EMC SAN
