Salary: Grade F £23,194 - £24,496 (depending on experience) FTE | Actual Salary: £9,173 pro rata
Part time • Permanent • 38 weeks per year • Term time only • Monday-Friday, 12:30pm to 4:00pm
Kingsbury Green Academy, judged as ‘Good’ by Ofsted in every category when inspected in April 2022, is part of the successful Ascend Learning Trust. We are an ambitious, forward thinking 11-18 years Academy situated in a beautiful location on the outskirts of Calne in Wiltshire.
We are looking for a calm and hard-working individual to engage positively with students in our Internal Exclusion room, embedding school values, attitudes and to promote high levels of achievement and behaviour. You will maintain appropriate standards of pupil behaviour in accordance with Academy policy. Additionally, you will ensure that the Internal Exclusion Room procedures are adhered to, and the environment is maintained to a good standard.
Enthusiasm and a strong presence are essential and ideally candidates should have experience of working with young people, either in a pastoral capacity e.g., as a TA or Mentor or in a teaching/tutoring capacity. There will be a strong emphasis on restorative work and positive re-engagement with the students to enable them to maximise their learning in school. Extensive support and training will be offered.
