We are looking for a motivated and dedicated member to join our IT Support Team to help represent a large innovative college IT department who takes pride in their work, enjoys helping people and provides excellent customer service.
You will be involved in dealing with support calls via a helpdesk system, supporting staff (and students) with IT queries, including the provision of 1st and 2nd line support of computer equipment.
You will possess a good working knowledge of common computer applications, current PC operating systems and a range of IT hardware, including the ability to provide technical advice and support on these products. You will also be able to work effectively as part of a team, possess good communication and interpersonal skills and be able to demonstrate experience of dealing with customers in a pressurised IT service environment.
A good general education, including GCSEs grade A-C or equivalent in English and Mathematics, is an essential requirement for this role.
