We are offering an exciting opportunity to join our Inclusive Learning team within Heart of Worcestershire College based in our Redditch Campus.
The purpose of the role is:
To meet the needs of a West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) Connecting Communities Employment Support Pilot programme that the College has been asked to deliver in partnership with them in the Batchley and Brockhill areas of Redditch.
To provide part-time adult NEET employability and or full time Foundation Learning Study Programme learning within the NEET area at the College by:
- Marketing and raising the awareness of the programme with local communities, businesses, stakeholders and partners.
Interviewing, completing initial assessments, engaging and referring adult learners.
- Developing Schemes of Work to support learning and assessment activities to support our high quality NEET and L1 provision whilst also ensuring timely and successful completion of all work delivered;
delivering high quality learning and assessment activities which meet the needs and interests of NEET and L1 learners and support their learning and development towards progress into employment/apprenticeships or Further Education;
- Act as lead tutor to groups of learners, including the monitoring of their course targets and arranging appropriate welfare and learning support.
To be considered for this role you must be educated to ‘A’ level/NVQ Level 3 standard, including level 2 Maths & English, have experience of developing Schemes of Work to support learning and assessment activities to support our high quality NEET and L1 provision and have experience of delivering high quality learning and assessment activities.
