Learning Support Assistant – Animal Management
(Full-time, Term-time only – 38 weeks, Fixed term until 26th June 2020)
We have an opportunity for a talented, highly motivated and dedicated individual to join BCA working as a Learning Support Assistant within our Animal Management department. This is a full-time role support our Level 1 and Level 2 learners.
Working alongside specialist tutors and vocational lecturing staff the successful candidates will provide an outstanding learning experience for our students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities.
This is an exciting opportunity to offer in-class and, in some instances, out of class support to learners with a range of learning difficulties.
The successful candidates will have knowledge and awareness of a variety of approaches to supporting learners. Experience of similar work with post-16 learners and/or supporting students with GCSE Maths & English would be useful. Experience of working with animals would also be desirable, although not essential.
