Learning Support Assistant - Creative Arts.
(Part-time – 3 days / week, Term Time only Fixed term until 3rd July 2020)
We have an opportunity for a talented, highly motivated and dedicated individual to join BCA working as a Part-time Learning Support Assistant within our Creative Arts department.
Working alongside specialist tutors and vocational lecturing staff, the successful candidate will provide an outstanding learning experience for our students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities.
This is an exciting opportunity to offer in-class and, in some instances, out of class support to learners with a range of learning needs.
The successful candidate will have knowledge and awareness of a variety of approaches to supporting learners. Experience of similar work with post-16 learners and/or supporting students with GCSE Maths & English would be useful. Experience of working in Art & Design, Media and/or Performing Arts would also be desirable, although not essential.
