St Brendan’s Catholic Sixth Form College is situated in the south of Bristol in an exceptional modern campus setting.

Learning Support Assistant - Permanent, 35 hours per week, Term Time Only.

If you are able to support individual students with additional needs or difficulties often associated with specific learning difficulties or impairments we want to hear from you.
Our Learning Development Team strives to promote student independence by working with them to adopt strategies and develop skills to enable them to access enrichment opportunities and engage fully in their academic studies. Our ideal candidate will have previous experience of working with young people, including those with additional needs, within an educational environment but, as a large and supportive team, we always have a variety of backgrounds, experience and skills for you to draw on.
What is important to us is that you can provide a range of practical support to our students and are a good communicator used to working in a large team context.
Salary will be on the Support Staff salary spine for Sixth Form College, Grade D on spine points 22 to 25, currently £18,780 - £20,765 per annum, pro rata.
NB: Actual salary £14,870.00 - £16,441.72 pa
