Learning Support Assistants – Farnley Partnership
Fixed Term Contract to 31.8.20 in the first instance
Pay range B1 (£18,426-£19,171) pro rata
Mondays to Friday 8.45 – 3.15
West SILC is seeking to appoint several Learning Support Assistants initially based at our partnership within the Farnley Academy. We cater for pupils between the ages of 2 and 19 with a range of learning difficulties and disabilities, on specialist sites and mainstream partnership schools. The main purpose of the role is to work under the direct instruction of teaching/senior staff, usually in the classroom with the teacher, to support access to learning for pupils; provide general support to the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom and support the pupils to meet their personal needs. This is an excellent opportunity to experience working within specialist provision.
Posts are to work with students at partnership within the Farnley Academy. Students within this partnership have complex and multiple learning needs.
