Learning Support Assistant (Welsh Medium)
Llanidloes High School is a bilingual 11-18 school in the heart of Powys with approximately 550 pupils on roll. During the last Estyn inspection, the school achieved Good for both current performance and prospects for improvement. However, we are not just about performance, our school motto ‘Giving Opportunities For All to Learn’ underpins the whole ethos of the school where we see education, in its broadest sense, as important for every pupil.
We are looking for a highly effective, well-motivated Learning Support Assistant to join our Additional Learning Needs Department. The successful applicant will be experienced in supporting students with additional learning needs in a secondary school environment and be able to provide engaging learning opportunities for pupils in small groups as well as support generally in a classroom setting.
Ideally, you will be fluent in Welsh as well as English as Llanidloes High School has students that require support in the Welsh medium stream.
Deadline for applications is Monday 27th January, shortlisting will take place Friday 31st January and interviews will be held during the week beginning Monday 3rd February.
Please contact Mrs Amanda Beese, ALNCo, (01686) 41 22 89 for further information.
