We are offering an exciting opportunity to join our Inclusive Learning team within Heart of Worcestershire College based in our Worcester Campus.
The purpose of the role is:
• To support College attendance, retention and achievement strategies by providing a high quality pro-active support service to learners who have high needs support requirements.
• To ensure that all learners receive excellent support to achieve their potential.
• To provide learning support that contributes to an outstanding student experience from the start of their college journey to progression into further study, employment or greater independence.
• To work directly with curriculum staff, Tutors, Student Services and key external agencies to ensure services proactively engage learners and meet individual social, emotional and learning needs.
• To comply with relevant performance monitoring and evaluation systems across the department to ensure quality of provision.
To be considered for this role you must Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy qualification or above, experience gained in support services, especially for young people with special educational needs. (e.g. education, Social Services, mental health services, the NHS) and ability to work within a team and on own.
