Learning Support Practitioner – 38 Weeks Term Time Only
Salary: £19,158 - £21,497 pro rata

An exciting opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Practitioner has arisen in one of the country’s largest colleges.
With a turnover of £65m annually, the College Group services c.12, 000 learners each year from a diverse variety of backgrounds. With state-of-the-art facilities, Beacon status, Gold Investors in People status and an excellent purpose-built estate across the city, the College is home to ground breaking innovation and involved in a wide variety of exciting new developments across the city and the wider educational landscape.
The successful candidate will contribute to achieving excellence in supporting students through innovative and excellent practice. You will be expected to support students of all ages with a wide range of learning difficulties and/or disabilities (moderate learning difficulties, physical/mental/ sensory/specific learning difficulties/disabilities to name a few). The purpose of support is to remove barriers to learning and access, improving participation and achievements, fostering confidence and independence among students. You will support students at all levels and offer effective and consistent support to enable students to reach their potential.
The successful candidate will be educated to at least Level 3 or above and have proven relevant experience of supporting students in an educational setting coupled with knowledge and understanding of disabilities and/or learning difficulties
