Lecturer - Childcare, Learning and Development - City of Newport Campus

The School of Care at City of Newport Campus is looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join its childcare team. You will be required to participate in developing the planning, delivery and quality processes of the full time and commercial courses that are delivered within the area (from Entry Level to Level 5).
Applicants must have relevant vocational experience in the early year’s sector as well as a professional qualification at Level 4 or above and have experience of teaching on various levels of Childcare and Education courses within FE from Entry to Level 5. You should hold a teaching qualification, or be prepared to obtain one within a specified time scale.
Skills in teamwork, motivating and inspiring students, developing a learner focussed curriculum and the ability to continually improve the learning experience will be essential.
The ability to speak Welsh at a basic level or a commitment to learn within two years is essential.
