What will you be doing?
City of Bristol College is seeking to appoint a resilient, enthusiastic and proactive lecturer in Combined Science to deliver on level 4 Foundation Programme for Health Professionals.
The successful candidate will introduce students to the disciplines of physics and chemistry through a combination of lectures, small group activities, demonstrations and supervised practical sessions. You will facilitate student’s development of their analytical skills and their capacity to apply theoretical knowledge to practical contexts. You will also enable students to develop their skills in observation, measurement and data recording as well as their proficiency in basic laboratory procedures.
We are looking for someone with experience of teaching and supporting adults who form part of the widening participation agenda and who is confident in working in a fast paced environment, with changing priorities.
You will also need to be able to build and maintain excellent working relationships with stakeholders, at all levels, internally and externally, as well as other members of College staff and students
You will be a confident communicator with the ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with Colleagues, Students and Stakeholders both internally and externally.
