About the role:
We are seeking to recruit a dynamic and enthusiastic Maths Lecturer who has considerable experience in teaching and assessing Functional Skills who is able to work effectively within a vocational curriculum framework. You should be experienced with a track record of developing learners to high levels of success.
The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of Functional Skills Maths qualifications to a number of full time classes and apprentices within the Directorate of Service and Creative Industries.
You should be experienced with the new GCSE 9-1 specifications with a track record of assisting learners to high levels of success. You should hold a teaching qualification and a mathematics subject specialism. Experience of preparing learners for external assessments with a recognised awarding body is essential.
You should be an enthusiastic Lecturer to deliver GCSE maths to predominantly 16-18 learners.
