The School of Engineering at the Crosskeys Campus is looking for two enthusiastic individuals to deliver engineering courses from Level 1 up to HNC/HND Level.
Post No1: The post would suit engineers from a range of backgrounds, but must have experience of Computer Aided Design (AutoDesk), Computer Numeric Control (Siemens Control), Engineering and Manufacturing Principles, Fitting and Machining techniques, Measurement and Inspection.
Post No2: The post would suit an apprentice-trained engineer from a manufacturing background. Ideally, you will have experience of delivering Engineering and Manufacturing Principles, Finishing & Secondary processes, Primary Forming Processes, Engineering Drawing and Engineering Design.
As a Lecturer in Engineering, you will be capable of delivering on a number of programmes ensuring that learners receive a high quality learning experience. Duties will include the delivery and assessment of all practical and theoretical units on various courses up to HND Level. You will be responsible for the monitoring and tracking of student progress, both in the workshop and the classroom. Applicants must hold a minimum qualification of HNC/D.
You will be expected to teach a maximum of 24 hours per week out of a 37 hour a week contract and this may include evenings.
