South Thames College are looking for a Lecturer & Assessor to teach and act as a course tutor for Apprenticeship in Civil Engineering and Construction, as well as HNC/HND in Construction and the Built Environment.
You will register cohorts, plan, prepare modules, deliver teaching, and conduct tutorials and assessments for students within the school.
We’re looking for someone who holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or a related subject) and who has recent experience of teaching learners aged 16-18 years as well as adult learners a curriculum that includes Civil Engineering. You’ll be able to teach surveying and structural analysis and design at HNC/HND Level as well as AutoCAD 2 and 3.
A teaching qualification is not essential; however, you will need to be willing to achieve one in line with current regulations.
