Lecturer, Animal Management
Salary: £24,202 to £32,463 per annum
Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lecturer in Animal Management to join the Animal Management Faculty at Hadlow College, to deliver a range of animal management courses from Level 1 to 6, including to school students.
The successful candidate will need practical experience in an animal care industry plus teaching experience in a practical and/or classroom setting. A keen interest in a wide range of animal related subjects is essential, as is a minimum level 3 qualification in an animal related subject. In addition to the minimum requirements detailed above, candidates will also need, or be willing to work towards, a full teaching qualification (i.e. DET, DTTLS, PGCE).
Applicants must show proof of a minimum Level 2 or equivalent in maths and English. Excellent communication, teamwork and IT skills are a must. Experience delivering Animal Welfare, Veterinary Science/Medicine along with related subjects would be advantageous. A Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement and A1/A2 (or D32 and D33) would also be advantageous.
