The School of Care at Coleg Gwent, Crosskeys Campus is looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated person to join the team.
The successful applicant will be required to deliver and assess on a range of courses (from L1 to L3) within the School of Care with the ability to deliver a range of subjects, specialising in the delivery of Childcare curriculum. Relevant professional experience within Childcare is essential with an underpinning knowledge of the new WJEC curriculum. A formal teaching qualification (assessor’s award preferable also) are a requirement for this role.
Skills in teamwork, motivating and inspiring students, developing a learner focussed curriculum and the ability to continually improve the learning experience will be essential. A willingness to fulfil the role of a personal tutor and course leader is desirable. Teaching hours in addition to the fixed term contract may also be available.
The ability to use the Welsh language at basic level (or willingness to undertake training) is desirable.
