We are seeking an experienced lecturer in electrical installations to join the growing Construction and the Build Environment Department. You’ll have the chance to work at both the Cambridge and Huntingdon Campuses, and deliver high quality teaching and learning. Ideally, we are looking for a permanent, full-time team member however we will consider part-time for the ideal electrical installations lecturer. In return you will receive a salary of £25,000-£34,697 p.a., generous staff benefits, as well as state of the art facilities to teach and work in. Plus, this role offers a Golden Hello payment of £5,000 in addition to relocation expenses in accordance with College procedures*.

About this Electrical Installations Lecturer role:
Reporting directly into the Head of Department and part of the wider construction team, this exciting role will involve the design and delivery of Electrical Installations and associated courses to a wide range of learners, in both practical and theoretical settings. The job role will also include contributing to the continued development of the Department, providing tutorial support for learners, and carrying out the associated administrative tasks connected with the post.
The successful candidate will need to be vocationally qualified to at least NVQ 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installations, and be able to demonstrate in depth subject knowledge. Although previous teaching experience is preferable, consideration will be given to candidates who demonstrate a high level of commitment to move their career to the Further Education sector.
