Coventry College is looking to appoint dynamic and enthusiastic lecturers who can inspire our learners to achieve their full potential. We recognise that our lecturing staff are integral to the success of the College and student achievement.
These roles will involve planning and providing high-quality teaching, as well as taking shared responsibility for the administration of a range of courses and levels delivered throughout the business provision.
Successful candidates will hold a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in English e.g. A Level (or equivalent qualification) and a relevant teaching qualification (or be willing to work towards). A Level 5 specialism in teaching English would also be advantageous.
You will have previous experience of teaching English up to GCSE, including functional skills English, although this is not essential. Successful candidates must be able to demonstrate a real enthusiasm for teaching English, with an ability to motivate and inspire learners to succeed.
We are recruiting for more than one Lecturer in English. A flexible approach to working hours is essential. We have opportunities on either a full-time or part-time basis, please specify in your application your preferred number of hours. Job share arrangements will be considered.
