Lecturer ESOL: Young Learners 0.5 vacancy at Southwark College.
You will be joining us at a very exciting time, as we work together as a team to expand and improve our teaching and learning offer to our students.
Our ESOL department is looking to recruit passionate and talented lecturer to deliver innovative sessions that engage learners, focussing mainly on 16-18 year olds. This will include the use of ICT / eLearning and promoting independent learning strategies. You will deliver a combination of accredited and non-accredited ESOL and Functional Skills English courses, as well as Tutorial, Employability and Enrichment components.
The successful candidates will have a full teaching qualification (or be working towards one), and ideally be educated to degree level. Your standard of English must be impeccable and you need to have recent and relevant experience of delivering ESOL. You will also need up to date knowledge of Safeguarding.
We are looking for high performing teachers with a track record of grade 2 and 1 observations. You will work collaboratively with the team and our Improvement Practitioners to improve standards and give our learners the best experience possible.
