An exciting opportunity has arisen with the Maths & English department to deliver GCSE Maths as part of College’s 16 to 18 Study Programmes.
The Maths & English department is committed to supporting all of its learners to significantly improve their numeracy and literacy skills as well as achieve their best possible outcome.
The co-ordinator will be supporting a small team of staff to deliver a GCSE Maths retake course to learners who are enrolled onto full-time Study Programmes.
This is an ideal role if you are an enthusiastic, experienced and innovative lecturer who has the drive and determination to achieve outstanding results for learners.
You will need to demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills as well as have a proven track record of high quality teaching.
This post is challenging, demanding and highly rewarding as you will be enabling young people to succeed and progress at College and have greater job opportunities in the future.
Applicants should have a relevant degree (or equivalent|), a teaching qualification, post-qualification experience and a learner-centred approach to teaching and learning.
