About the role
We are looking for a Lecturer in A-level Law to join our A-level team.
As a Lecturer in A-level Law, you will be required to deliver A-level Law to A-level students ensuring that learners receive a high quality learning experience and achieve success.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of teaching Law at A-level along with a teaching qualification e.g. DTTLS, PGCE, Certificate of Education or equivalent or the desire to achieve a teaching qualification along with experience or a subject specialism in Law. It is essential that candidates have a degree in a relevant subject and graduates with a desire to work towards a teaching qualification are encouraged to apply. You must have Level 2, or equivalent, Literacy and Numeracy qualifications.
About the team
The A-level department is based at our West Kent Campus and comprises a dedicated team of professionals delivering 14 different A-level subjects to approximately 160 students. As a department, we aim to support students to achieve the best possible outcomes. Our students progress to university, apprenticeships and employment following the completion of their studies. All students follow a linear A-level pathway.

On top of this, the College offers financial support when you complete Initial Teacher Training course via West Kent and Ashford College. You will receive £600 at the end of your first year of employment at the College as a fully qualified teacher and £750 at the end of the second year of employment.
