About the role:
We are seeking a lecturer to teach Business Studies to students from Entry level 3 to level 4 in our School of Enterprise. The post will require you to take a role in the success of our students and to contribute towards the pastoral and academic support that individual students may need. The highest levels of satisfaction for the student experience with the College is crucial and the monitoring of individual student performance, attendance and attainment is essential within the role.
You will have appropriate experience and qualifications reflecting a strong knowledge of the Business sector, together with Maths & English at level 2. You will also hold a teaching qualification giving you the skills and capacity to design and deliver teaching and learning. You will be working as part of a diverse team in the delivery of our business curriculum and ideally will have previous experience in the provision of business projects and the theory of several business subjects.
You must demonstrate excellent organisational and communication skills that will enable you to work as part of a team to ensure quality, accreditation and moderation and you must be able to demonstrate proven success in courses/training that you have been involved in. You will also effectively use data and College monitoring systems to support the full achievement and success of our students.
