We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to deliver high quality teaching on our Electical Installation courses. As the successful individual will teach theory (classroom based) along with workshop learning, candidates need to possess the ability to design and deliver, stretch and challenge and provide inclusive, responsive and innovative teaching.
You will be a well organised and flexible individual, able to effectively manage your own time and resources, with excellent communication skills and the ability to convey information and ideas in a clear and engaging manner.
The ideal candidate will hold a recognised Level 3/NVQ qualification in the relevant subject area in a plumbing discipline, combined with relevant and recent industrial experience in the installation and/or maintenance. A teaching qualification e.g. DTLLS or equivalent is also required and must be willing to undertake the necessary IQA/Assessor Awards if not already qualified.
You should also ideally have level 2 qualifications in numeracy, literacy and ICT. However, if you do not hold these qualifications you will be expected to achieve these, for which support will be given.
In return, we offer excellent employment benefits including generous annual leave, a public sector pension scheme and great opportunities for CPD.
