LECTURER IN ENGLISH – FIXED TERM OPPORTUNITIES (Until June 2020)

Stoke on Trent College is going through an exciting change and transformation programme. We are looking for inspirational and dedicated individuals to join us on our journey to Outstanding.
There are currently two vacancies available:
1 x 27 hours (teaching 16–18 year olds GCSE and Functional Skills English)
1 x 18 hours (teaching adults and 16-18 year olds Functional Skills English and will involve some evening work)
The successful applicant(s) will join an established team that plans, implements, and delivers GCSE English and Functional Skills, enrolling and supporting students on these courses whilst also contributing to relevant administration.
We are looking for experienced teacher(s) with a Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject and a degree level qualification. The ideal candidates will have recent experience of delivering English programmes to learners. Team players with positive attitudes, the successful candidates will have a supportive and empathetic approach and be able to motivate and inspire our learners.
