Full Time, 37 hours p/week, £24,171 to £33,630 per annum,
We are looking for values-driven individuals, qualified or unqualified in teaching, to join our successful Foundation Studies team. You will develop and deliver learning sessions that will motivate and inspire a diverse range of learners, including those with Social, Emotional, Behavioural, Mental Health or Autistic Spectrum needs.
The feeling of success when you have inspired a learner who is disengaged, learning disabled or NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training) can’t be matched. Your learners are all unique and will have individual and ever-changing needs; you will need to ask lots of questions, be creative, resilient and have a can-do approach in order to succeed in this post.
There will be challenges; this is not an easy area to work in, but we will support you every step of the way. You will join a team that is skilled, passionate and committed to help students achieve through study, releasing their full potential.
Your focus will be on the progression each learner can make onto the next stage of their learning journey; you will reinforce positive behaviour, support academic development, encourage engagement in the community and, eventually, enable your learners to live an independent life through further education and employment.
We will look positively at candidates with a wider background of working with disengaged, learning disabled and young people who are NEET; you don’t have to have a teaching background. We need the right people who will be committed to making a difference in our learners’ lives.
