The School of Engineering is looking for a Level 3 Gas/Plumbing Lecturer who can impart their essential skills to our full time students and apprentices both in the workshop and classroom. We are looking for someone with excellent practical vocational skills, backed up by the required theoretical knowledge to teach to Level 3. You must be passionate about the trade and able to prepare our students for the world of work.
Alongside this you will need to keep detailed records and track outcomes using the appropriate college systems.The ideal candidate will have relevant Level 3 Gas and plumbing industry qualifications. An assessor’s qualification or verifier’s qualification would be advantageous, but if you are willing to complete this training we would still like to hear from you. This position would be suitable for someone with a flair for passing on their knowledge to others and the enthusiasm to support our learners through their qualifications and apprenticeships. You will have an ability to promote, support and embed English and maths skills within planning and delivery of all teaching.
This is a full-time post starting in September 2019 based at our industry specific facility in Kings Langley.
