Our Cross College English department is looking to recruit passionate and talented lecturers to deliver innovative sessions that engage learners. This will include the use of ICT / eLearning and promoting independent learning strategies. You will deliver a combination of GCSE English and Functional Skills English courses to a variety of learners (16-18 and 19+) on vocational courses up to L2, and Adult Basic Skills.
The successful candidates will have a full teaching qualification (or be working towards one). Ideally you will be educated to degree level and we would expect you have a L3 English qualification. Your standard of English must be impeccable and you need to have delivered teaching in GCSE English as well as Functional Skills English at all levels.
We are looking for high performing teachers with a track record of grade 2 and 1 observations. You will work collaboratively with the team and our Improvement Practitioners to improve standards and give our learners the best experience possible.
