Lecturer in Graphic Design. Part time (22.2 hours per week). Permanent.
An opportunity has arisen within the Curriculum Area of Creative and Performing Arts to appoint an enthusiastic and creative Graphic Design Lecturer.
The post holder will contribute to the development of the College’s exciting and successful Graphic, Fashion, Photography, Media and Art & Design programs.
You will have relevant industry experience to teach Graphic Design, Typography, Advertising and Editorial Design units. You will be proficient in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator and have proven effective teaching and administrative experience.
The successful applicant will have industry experience in Graphic Design, and ideally outstanding FE teaching experience.
Candidates should hold a minimum Level 6 qualification in a related subject as well as a minimum Level 2 qualification in maths and English (or equivalent). Applicants will also be fully Teacher qualified at Level 5 or above e.g. Diploma in Education and Training, Cert Ed, PGCE or equivalent or be willing to work towards obtaining a teaching qualification.
