We are looking for a well-qualified lecturer to teach across all levels of the Hairdressing courses.
We are looking to recruit someone who has a wealth of industry experience, knowledge and skills to pass on to our students. You will be based at our Watford campus within our excellent facilities.
The ideal candidate must hold an NVQ 2 and NVQ 3 Hairdressing and L2 barbering qualification and ideally be willing to work towards the L3 barbering qualification. A teaching qualification is desirable, although full training to obtain this will be provided.
As part of this role you will be expected to IQA in the School as well as regularly supporting with assessing apprentices and must hold an Assessor and Internal Verifier qualifications
This is a full-time position, working 37 hours a week starting in January 2021. You may be required to teach on the evening part-time adult hairdressing courses, as well as the full time courses.
You will have an ability to promote, support and embed English and Maths skills within planning and delivery of all teaching.
