Lecturer in Health and Social Care
Salary: £23,267 to £36,121 per annum (pro rata)
Location: Bridgwater Campus
We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer who is passionate, innovative and enthusiastic to deliver highly effective teaching, learning and assessment and to support learners to maximise their potential to make positive progress towards their timely success.
The post holder will work with Level 1, 2 and 3 health and social care students that seek to progress to a range of careers in the health and/or social care sector. Learners are undertaking CACHE Level 1 and BTEC level 2 and 3 programmes that integrate practical work placement and underpinning knowledge to become effective practitioners, and support employers with the current challenges in the sector.
The Health And Social Care And Early Years team that the post holder would join works closely with employers, work placement coordinators and support staff to enable students to make progress towards their career goals.
This post would suit a practitioner that is enthusiastic about the role of education in supporting young people to become ready for employment or progression to further study.
