Colchester Institute is looking for an hourly paid Lecturer in Maths to teach Maths within Colchester Institute and contribute to the related cross college quality assurance systems. The teachers will be expected to conduct teaching/learning activities appropriate to the needs of individual learners, courses and the curriculum, keeping attendance records, managing assessments and maintaining student discipline.
You will provide accurate and timely assessment and feedback to learners, and maintain assessment records, in line with College policy.
You will hold a Level 3 qualification or above in a relevant subject area. The successful applicant will have experience of teaching Mathematics at least to Level 2 and have experience of working with a wide range of learners at different levels. In addition to this you will demonstrate the ability to plan and deliver imaginative and motivational sessions with a clear focus on the needs of the individual learner.
