We are currently seeking a Lecturer in maths to join our English and Maths Department based across our Lackham and Chippenham campus, on a full-time contract. We are also happy to consider par time applications - please indicate within your application of preference.
This role will involve teaching GCSE and Functional skills maths to our 16-19yr students. You will be responsible for delivering outstanding teaching, learning and assessment, enabling students to maximise their potential. You will prepare schemes of work, lesson and assessment plans and you will ensure resource material and teaching reflect best practice.
The successful candidate will hold a relevant maths qualification at Level 3 or above and/or have substantial experience in the maths industry. You will also hold a teaching qualification or be willing to work towards this. With an engaging approach, you will have the ability to motivate students and support them to achieve their potential.
