We currently have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Lecturer in Media, to join our friendly team based at our Trowbridge campus. With a degree and background in either visual or interactive Media Production, the successful candidate will hold a relevant qualification and have substantial experience in the Media industry. You will have teaching experience and hold or be willing to work towards a teaching qualification, with experience in working on or leading Level 2 and 3 Media programmes. With an enthusiastic, motivated and engaging approach you will have the academic and practical skills to energise students and support them to realise their goals.
You will be responsible for delivering outstanding teaching, learning and assessment on our UAL Level 2 and 3 Media courses, with course lead responsibilities. You will prepare schemes of work, lesson and assessment plans, and contribute to the wider enrichment of students including supporting pastoral needs and working with the community on live projects. Enabling learners to maximise their potential, you will ensure resource materials and teaching reflect best practice contributing to the quality of provision as measured by retention, attendance, success rates, progression, final grades and value added.
